We had a tire blow out, causing some damage to the front end of our car. We were about 5 hours away from our destination and were unsure if the car would make it there. Fuel pump went out on my truck on my way from Amarillo back to DFW. Jeremy was very understanding of my situation and knowledgeable of my vehicle. However, the folks at Hill's Motors are truely there to help you. Without a doubt the best mechanic shop I have ever been to. When the wheels fell off of my handicapped short bus I live in, the folks at Hill's Motors did an outstanding job at getting us back on the road safely. Even though they knew that it would inconvenience us and our timing of our travels they were insistent on making sure that the safety of me, my girlfriend, and our two dogs was of the up most importance. One particular thing stood out for me that doesn't happen often in mechanic shops is that when I brought up something I had learned that contradicted the advice they had been giving me, they legitimately took what I had to say seriously. After researching the matter they realized that they had been mistaken. Everyone is human, and not everyone can know everything about every vehicle, and for them to acknowledge that is quite remarkable. They could have easily let their pride get in the way like many other mechanics, but they didn't. Special nod to Corey for the exceptional work. After driving down some rather bumpy roads since leaving Childress, we feel very confident that the wheels won't fall off our lovely Clementine again. This place and the folks who work there were a Godsend. My radiator broke and coolant spewed everywhere beneath my hood just 15 miles past Childress; these guys came to make sure it was safe to drive back to their shop and were able to get a radiator from Lubbock and get everything fixed by early the next morning. They were very patient with me on the phone when I was initially trying to figure out what to do, and the entire experience was as good as it could possibly be. These guys are awesome, I couldn't recommend them enough. Their repair shop is just down at the corner of 4th St. I had a gasket leaking coolant on my drive back from Colorado and my car just so happened to overheat just down the street from their shop. Paul fixed it in about an hour, all while being very professional and friendly as he explained what was going on.
