My Ford Expedition broke down about 20 mile outside of Childress as we were driving from Dallas to Amarillo. They replaced serpentine belt and idler pulley. He did a great job and very reasonable. I had to ask he they added everything to the ticket. We were truly bless that they ws there to help my family and I in our time of need. I was driving cross country and our water pump blew going through Childress. Called Danny's Transmission and Auto Repair, who could not take the job but recommended Hill's Motors.  Hill's found the part, took us right away, and had us back on the road in less than three hours for a very reasonable price. The alternator belt on my 1988 VW Vanagon blew out in Childress. Hill's Motors towed me in. I was worried since it's not a Vanagon-specific shop, but I didn't really have too many options. Fortunately the mechanic there was familiar with these vans. He could have just put a new belt on and sent me on my way, but instead he found the root of the problem (my alternator bearing) and we ordered a new alternator, which they hung and put on some new relays for me. He also checked for coolant leaks and took the time to explain everything he was doing to me, which I greatly appreciated.
