About 20 miles outside of Childress, doing 80 mph on the freeway, my engine stopped. I eventually got my truck to start, it somehow made it to Childress, and I pulled into Hill's Motors. My truck needed a crankshaft position sensor, but none of the suppliers had the part in town. I thought I was going to have to stay the night, which would have derailed my entire road trip. Even though the shop was busy servicing other vehicles, Mr. Hill located the part in a different city, had one of his men drive the part in, and installed the part the same day. I cannot fully express how fortunate I feel to have found an honest repair shop that was willing to go above and beyond to get me back on the road. After the repair, my truck has driven like new for over 2,000 miles. If you need a repair and you're passing through Childress, or Hill's Motors is within driving distance of your home, you should take your vehicle to Hill's Motors.
