Jeremy Hill and his mechanics are the best! While traveling through Childress, TX in our 2003 Dodge 1 Ton with Diesel Engine our Fuel Pump went out during a stop for fuel at the local Walmart! Jeremy came and towed us to his shop, was able to get the required parts and repair our truck in a matter of a few hours. Thank you so much for getting us back on the road to that we could continue on our trip to Colorado! If you break down in Childress Hill Motor Repair is the place to get your repair work done! - Pam F (5 star review found on Google)
I could not speak more highly of this place. Fantastic, knowledgeable, and courteous. Had truck and trailer issues in the middle of a long road trip. Took us in immediately, ordered parts, and got the work done in less time than expected. Told us where we could stay in our travel trailer for the night, dropped us off, and picked us up when the work was done. Jeremy and team, thank you SO much. If your stuff is gonna break, you better hope it happens near Childress, TX. - Amanda P (5 star review found on Google)
I called them to see if I could bring my car into find out why the “needs maintenance” light was on and happened to mention I’d recently had an my oil changed. Jeremy told me that the light should have been reset by the person who did the oil change. Then told me How to fix it. I did what he told me to do and it reset and the light went off - in about a minute. I was amazed because he could have had me bring the car in, fixed it, and charged me $50-$75 to do it. As a result, he made a customer and I will see him for any future problems. I have also told many of my friends and suspect he will get more customers because of his attitude and honesty. - Sandra P (5 star review found on Google)
My Ford Expedition broke down about 20 mile outside of Childress as we were driving from Dallas to Amarillo. They replaced serpentine belt and idler pulley. He did a great job and very reasonable. I had to ask he they added everything to the ticket. We were truly bless that they ws there to help my family and I in our time of need. I wish I could give them 10 stars. - Steve S (5 star review found on Google)

I was driving cross country and our water pump blew going through Childress. Called Danny's Transmission and Auto Repair, who could not take the job but recommended Hill's Motors. Hill's found the part, took us right away, and had us back on the road in less than three hours for a very reasonable price. Thanks so much to Jeremy (the owner) and Dwayne (the mechanic who worked on our car) for the speedy and thorough repair! I was a little apprehensive based on the prior review, but received great service from this small town repair shop. They saved our trip, and we would not hesitate to use them again. - Holly D (5 star review found on Yelp)
The alternator belt on my 1988 VW Vanagon blew out in Childress. Hill's Motors towed me in. I was worried since it's not a Vanagon-specific shop, but I didn't really have too many options. Fortunately the mechanic there was familiar with these vans. He could have just put a new belt on and sent me on my way, but instead he found the root of the problem (my alternator bearing) and we ordered a new alternator, which they hung and put on some new relays for me. He also checked for coolant leaks and took the time to explain everything he was doing to me, which I greatly appreciated. They even drove me to and from my hotel while they were working on the van. - Hutson C (5 star review found on Yelp)
